Log of December (2022) - End of year wrap up! (What we've been doing these past silent months) From all of us to all of you :)
Faded Solitude » Devlog
Hello again,
It's been a while since we've written here. Things have been getting busier, so we're gonna have to release devlogs less often to focus more on the development of Faded Solitude.
In any case, it's now due time to get all of you up to date on what we've been doing :)
September-December Development
- Testing out a completable build.
We've had our first full run of the second level (the biggest level so far) and have begun implementing the first changes and polishes to improve the flow of puzzles throughout the game.
- New puzzles have been added. Cooking? Cooking. Delicious soup. *gmod ragdoll noises
- "Spooky" animated texture has changed a lot
Snippet:
- Dialogue states for everything
NPC's, objects and scenery comments will shift depending on progression, making things more lively and useful for the player.
- Implementing the ending sequence for the red level
- Decorating levels further
- Bug fixing This includes parallax issues and removed most instances of Lorry saying "damn, that's sexy". No context will be provided for the latter.
That's it for 2022. We're at ~50% of the game. See you in 2023, where we'll show you new stuff that's coming up.
